Discover the thrill of safari in the most iconic parks of Kenya: Tsavo, Masai Mara, Amboseli and many more. Authentic experiences with the best local agencies.

Amboseli National Park.

Located on the border with Tanzania, it has an area of only 392 square kilometers with an astonishing view of Kilimanjaro.

The national park is famous for the ease with which animals can be approached. The dry lake”Amboseli” fills only during sporadic rains, usually remaining an arid plain.

It is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, at the center of the park is the Chyulu Range mountain chain, which represents one of the youngest mountain systems in the world, probably formed no more than 200 years ago, rich in extinct volcanoes and lava flows.

The protagonist animal of the park is the black rhino, up to 30 years ago there were 8.000 specimens, exterminated by poaching in the 70s/80s. The park is home to elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, hyenas, warthogs, giraffes, impalas, gazelles, eland oryxes and zebras.

Tsavo East National Park.

Divided from the Tsavo River east by the Trans-Africa Highway A109 and the Mombasa-Nairobi railway, one of the park's most spectacular views is that of Lugard's Falls on the Galana River Falls.

Giraffes, elephants, zebras, Grant's gazelles, lions, leopards, cheetahs and buffaloes live in the Park. Among the rarest animals are the lesser kudu and oryx.

It is the most famous park in Kenya and probably in all of Africa, the reserve measures an area of 1800 square kilometres, the Masai Mara is a natural continuation of the Serengeti Undulating Savannah, spectacular escarpments and acacia forests, the largest wildlife spectacle of the planet, the great Migration, every year 3 million animals migrate from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara in search of new pastures.

The main inhabitants of the park are buffaloes, rhinoceroses, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, impalas, leopards, cheetahs, lions, hippos and more than 450 species of birds have been observed including the rare Verreaux's eagle. Land of Masai tribes, very independent people and once ancient warriors, now retired to the most remote areas of the park.

Lake Nakuru National Park.

The park extends for approximately 200 square kilometres, the lake is salty, positioned on the Rift Valley, completely fenced, has become a rhino sanctuary and is famous for the colonies of pelicans and flamingos that find a perfect home here.

Tourists, especially Italian, British and German, are attracted to the beaches and nature reserves, particularly Tsavo National Park (20,808 sq km) in the south-east of the country, which has many representative species of the continent.
As are the elephant, the zebra, the lion, among other large mammals
and African species, which contribute to local tourism.
This tourism has contributed to the economic recovery that the country has undergone in recent years.
