The most common way to get around Watamu is by tuk tuk or motorbike taxi . You'll usually find them right in front of the resort. Sunset Lab (Friday Night) : Enjoy delicious pizza and an Afrobeat DJ set with live performances from saxophonists and percussionists. Known for its breathtaking sunsets and boho vibe, Sunset Lab is definitely a spot you don't want to miss.

Paparemo Beach Party (Saturday Night) : Dance to African, Italian, and mainstream music, with a mix of locals and tourists. A lively place to party until the early hours.

Car Wash (Local Bar) : A budget-friendly bar with African dance music and karaoke nights. A fun, Kenyan-friendly atmosphere where you can request your favorite songs, have a few drinks, and show off your dancing skills.

Lichthaus : A bohemian venue known for its spectacular sunsets and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent food and occasional DJ sets. Reservations are required, especially during high season; this is one of the busiest and most popular spots in Watamu.

Kaleidoscope Festival : Held once a year, this festival features amazing DJ sets, art, food trucks, and even tattoos. A weekend packed with activities and creativity.

Tips : Always keep your belongings safe, book in advance at popular venues, and use tuk-tuks or motorbikes to get around.

To ensure a pleasant and safe stay for all guests, please follow the following rules:

• Pool: Swimming is not permitted after 20:00 pm.
• Blackout: In the event of a power outage, have a staff member turn on the generator. Generator hours are 9:00 a.m. to 23:00 p.m.
• Non-Resident Entry: Non-resident visitors will be required to show proof of identity upon entry.
• BBQ area: The barbecue area is for use by staff members or chefs only.
• Noise: Noise, parties or loud music are allowed after 23pm.

Thanks to our strategic location, just 500 meters from the resort, a new shopping mall has opened. Inside, you'll find a pharmacy , a bar/restaurant , a bank , a greengrocer , and a spa/hair salon to meet your every need during your stay.

The local currency is the Kenyan Shilling (KES) . An ATM is available just 500 meters from our resort, in the new shopping mall. If you need to exchange euros or dollars for Kenyan Shillings , you can ask for assistance at reception.
